7. Alberto Ascari
Let’s go to the beginning of the Formula One championship race, when skills were all one driver had. During this period, there were no safety measures and assistive technology that were in charge of driver safety, but literally everything was in the hands of the racers. One of the legendary drivers racing in the period was Alberto Ascari.
As we said, skills were everything, and Ascari was definitely among the finest drivers of that period. That helped him win two titles in a row, in 1952 and 1953. His career record is 13 wins in 32 races. Alberto Ascari also stood out for his precision in racing a car.
