The headquarters of the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes team is a stunning piece of architecture set in 50 hectares of parkland near Woking, Surrey.

It houses the team’s full-scale windtunnel as well as the other companies in the McLaren Group, including McLaren Applied Technologies and Absolute Taste – businesses stretching from the art of aerodynamics to the science of great food.

Although it epitomises McLaren’s high-tech values, it works in harmony with its environment, too: the nearby lakes work as part of the cooling system and are kept topped up by recycled rainwater.
